Decay heroics

The angular heroes weaved from paradoxes, language, plots Platonova hardly found a recognition of contemporaries. The success of publications in magazines «Red nov», «the New world» is soon replaced by critical responses, editorial denominations and refusals. In 1928 Platons finishes job over the novel "Tchevengur", however entirely it was issued only in 1972 in Paris. The novel represents a multiplane narration in which lyrics and satire are bound with philosophical concepts and political hints. At the heart of a plot — the description of occurrence and  destruction of a city-commune a Tchevengur where there come after a number of adventures heroes of the novel, the son of drowned fisherman Sasha Dvanov and Quixote of revolution Kopenkin. In a Chevengursky commune «the history» — having cleared a city from burzhuev and «residual swine» has come to an end, having destroyed an economy, people eat earth and sun gifts. The soldiers who have attacked a city bring definitive  destruction to inhabitants of a city. The novel is penetrated by a duality: a commune — both an ideal, and a derision subject; fedorovskie appeals to a brotherhood of people, revival of ancestors, reprehensibility of displays of a floor to which Platons has been attached in a youth, here ironically ostranjajutsja. The poetics in "Tchevengur" receives the further development: the plot is expressed implicitly, speech of characters and the story-teller do not differ; language «clumsy and aphoristically found» (E.Yablokov). Blinking of senses creates the special ekspressivno-viscous environment of not resolved tragical conflict as existence bases. This conflict is universal and is not reduced only to rupture between an ideal and the practical device of a life, to political and historical realities.
