Platons (an ice crust. fam. Klimentov) Andrey Platonovich (1899, Voronezh — 1951, Moscow) — the writer. A sort. In a family of the mechanic. "Electrification"; in 1922 — kn. Verses "Blue depth"; in 1927 — sb. Stories "Epifansky sluices", brought to it popularity. Platons has moved to Moscow, became the professional writer. Its prose ("City of Gradov", "Doubted Makar", etc.) Has called aversion of criticism. Platons seldom printed. To lead "Foundation ditch", "sea Juvenilnoe", the novel "Tchevengur" could be issued only in the late eighties and have obtained a world recognition. With 1942 till the end of a Patriotic War served as the war correspondent in a field army. In 1947 has undergone to charge in creation of the "slanderous" story "Ivanov's Family". Despite arrest of the son, Platons has not been subjected to repression and has died at home.
